"Green Dame Spatial Expressions" 6"x8" standing acrylic sandwiched transparency

$45.00

This a study in the anatomy of a conceptual portal as a liminal space which is a transition and evolution of containment through expression. Where planes are redirected and questions our spatial realities - up, down, sides, here, there, everywhere, and nowhere. It is an exploration of multiple realms. In these liminal spaces there is not up, or down or around or even side to side. The spaces take on various functionalities depending on who uses it. It is also a tactile experience - you can stretch it, feel it, taste it, stomp on it, use it as your punching bag. This freedom of space is to break down the space barriers in systems that oppress us. It exists in the limitless of alternate realms among co-existing realities, existing outside of the lines and defies gravity, better yet defies reality.

Bits of Me! —->

I am an Ontario licensed Architect (OAA) with over 20 years of industry experience and worked at a variety of award-winning architecture firms across Toronto, I led a solo architectural practice from 2018 to 2024. I am also a visual & dance performance artist that loves [AI] as a revolutionizing tool and passionate about social justice.

I love creating playful, immersive and embodied spaces that bridge sensuality and expression through visual storytelling explored in a variety and combination of mediums such as 3D computer modelling, CADD - computer assisted design/drafting, digital art, graphic design, artificial intelligence [AI], illustration, photography, animation, experimental film & dance arts! I love combining creativity and technology!

My other creative passion projects range from performing burlesque to alternative modelling as well as artistic & creative direction including costume designing and costume styling for music videos or creative photoshoots and graphic designing for branding & visual identity.

I currently work as an Architect at a large Corporate Canadian Architecture firm here in Toronto with a focus in healthcare architecture, an architecture guest critic at various universities and a board of director member for East End Arts in Toronto. I am also a committee advisor and graphic designer for a non-profit civic engagement organization based in Buffalo, New York, U.S.A. (where I call second home) and hold near and dear to my heart - Coles House Project!
